Rochester Area Community Foundation Grants for Race Exhibit

The Rochester Area Community Foundation has pledged a $200,000 grant to bring a major traveling exhibit on the racial divide in the Rochester area to the Rochester Museum & Science Center called "Race: Are We So Different?".

According to Jennifer Leonard, the foundation"s executive director, the pledge follows a strategic shift in the way the foundation distributes funds and that the board decided to give fewer but larger grants in the hope that the money would have higher impact.
