The Blanche & Julian Robertson Family Foundation announced that it will be writing checks for more than $1.8 million during 2012-13, one of the foundation's largest in its 14 years of operation.
The Rowan-Salisbury Schools received the most of this year's awards, totaling $497,258 in 19 grants. Projects funded were in the technology area, as the system continues to expand its capabilities and that of its students in applied technology.
