Training men to be better dads

If you think you have ever learned a new skill or communication technique that made your life and relationships better then maybe it's time to use these talents to improve families.

Parenting techniques are generally something that we pick up over time from our parents. For example, if you were spanked as a child then it seems to reason that you are more likely to spank your children than someone who was not spanked as a child. If we know families that had abusive relationships with children then it stands to reason that they can learn new techniques that might lead to better relationships.

Responsible Fatherhood Initiative is trying to improve father's relationships with their children. By identifying fathers who are at risk of having problems they are leading the way to establishing a new way of thinking about fatherhood.
