A brief but informative piece by Robert Armour introducing the reader to the biosphere of Galloway, Scotland. It, being the only one in Scotland, has founded international interest that all started with a social enterprise's efforts to preserve and protect this rarity.
A short film about this biosphere, and the effort to preserve it, will be coming out and will hopefully add more awareness in general. Overall, the reader will be modestly informed as to the local Scotland biosphere's existence and the international effort to preserve it.
