Educational systems are seeing the need to get creative about their sources of funding. With the economy squeezing more out of school district budgets, school foundations have turned to focused fundraising to make up for the discrepancies. The benefit of this is keeping too many organizations from competing over the same limited funding.

While there is no end in sight to the budget cuts, non-profit funding foundations are able to step in to provide help in making up for those losses. Communities are realizing the need to step in as they see the lack of financial support from state resources. Through the cooperation of these local foundations and private donations, school needs can be requested and met in areas ranging from programming labs to instructional costs, enabling educational providers to give students the tools and resources needed to meet their educational goals.
